This whole paragraph is giving me PTSD.

If two people are interested in getting to know each other, why should they hold back? Why should they act aloof and pretend to care less than they do? I am in no way endorsing love bombing. Allow yourself feel your real feelings, treat people respectfully and live. If it works out, we thank God and if it does not, we heal and move on. Do not string people along and give them breadcrumbs in order to have a cool story to tell your friends. Miss me with all the mental gymnastics of reading between the lines.
